Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Reflection:
Life rarely makes perfect sense in the moment. We face unexpected detours, delays, and disappointments. Maybe you’ve prayed and waited but haven’t seen the answer yet. Maybe something didn’t turn out how you hoped. In those moments, it’s easy to ask, “God, what are You doing?”
But today’s scripture reminds us that trust begins where understanding ends. God doesn’t ask us to figure it all out—He asks us to trust Him completely.
Think of a puzzle: we only see a few pieces, but God sees the whole picture. What feels like a setback might actually be God setting you up for something greater. He’s working behind the scenes, weaving together things you can’t yet see.
Encouragement:
Whatever you’re facing today, choose to trust. Give God not just the pieces that make sense, but also the ones that don’t. Surrender your questions, your confusion, your timeline—and trust in His. He’s never late. He’s never unsure. He’s never unfaithful.
Let today be a day of surrender and confidence. He’s directing your steps, even when the path looks uncertain.
Prayer:
Father, I surrender my plans, my expectations, and my worries to You today. Help me trust You fully, even when I don’t understand. I know You are faithful and You see the whole picture. Lead me in Your perfect timing and purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Challenge:
Take five minutes today to sit quietly and tell God, “I trust You.” No agenda, no requests—just a simple act of surrender.
