Scripture: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

Devotion:
We live in a world that constantly tells us we need more—more success, more followers, more possessions, more achievements. The pressure to be “enough” in the eyes of others can weigh heavily on our hearts. But today, let’s rest in a simple yet profound truth: God is enough.

When Paul pleaded with God to remove the thorn in his flesh, God didn’t take the pain away. Instead, He gave Paul something far greater—grace. Not just temporary relief, but sustaining strength. God’s answer wasn’t absence of hardship, but presence of Himself.

You might be facing circumstances that feel too big, too painful, or too uncertain. Maybe you’re questioning if you’re strong enough, smart enough, spiritual enough. But God is not asking you to be perfect. He is asking you to trust Him. His grace is enough. In your weakness, His power shines brightest.

Let today be the day you stop striving to prove your worth and start abiding in the One who already calls you worthy. His grace covers every shortcoming, His strength fills every gap, and His love is unwavering.

Prayer:
Lord, I confess that I often try to rely on my own strength. Help me to rest in Your grace today. Teach me to trust You more and believe that You are enough for me. Let Your power shine through my weakness. Amen.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What area of your life do you feel inadequate in today?
  2. How can you invite God’s grace into that situation?
  3. Can you think of a time when God’s strength carried you through a weakness?

Let grace lead you today. You don’t have to have it all together—Jesus already does.
