Scripture: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

Reflection:

Fear is one of the enemy’s greatest tools. It sneaks in when we face uncertainty, challenges, or the unknown. But as believers, we are reminded in today’s scripture that fear is not from God. He has equipped us with power, love, and a sound mind.

When fear whispers, “You’re not enough,” God says, “My grace is sufficient.”
When fear says, “You can’t handle this,” God says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
When fear tries to paralyze, God calls us to walk by faith, not by sight.

Faith doesn’t mean we won’t face storms—it means we know who is in the boat with us. Jesus calmed the wind and waves with a word, and He can calm the fears that rage within us.

Instead of allowing fear to dictate your decisions or outlook today, ask God to help you walk in His power and truth. Replace fearful thoughts with faith-filled declarations. Stand firm on His promises, even when your emotions try to sway you.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for reminding me that fear does not come from You. When I feel afraid, help me to lean into Your power, love, and wisdom. Strengthen my faith today. Fill my mind with Your truth and my heart with Your peace. I choose to walk boldly, knowing You are with me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Faith in Action:

  • Write down one fear that’s been holding you back.
  • Find a Bible verse that speaks truth over it.
  • Speak that truth aloud every time the fear arises.

Remember: God hasn’t given you fear—He’s given you faith. Choose to walk in His strength today.
