Scripture:
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Reflection:
Waiting is one of the hardest things to do, especially when we are praying, hoping, and believing for something to change. Whether it’s a breakthrough in your family, healing in your body, direction for your next step, or restoration in a relationship, the wait can feel endless.
But Scripture reminds us that waiting on the Lord isn’t passive—it’s active trust. It’s leaning into His promises, even when we don’t see results yet. God isn’t ignoring you. He’s preparing you. Just like an eagle doesn’t soar without learning how to ride the wind, we too must learn to trust the unseen work of the Holy Spirit in the quiet seasons.
In the waiting, God strengthens. In the silence, He speaks to your heart. And when the time is right, He lifts you up—not just to walk, but to soar.
Encouragement:
Today, if you’re in a season of waiting, don’t grow weary. Let this be a time of spiritual renewal. Pray, worship, and trust that God is working behind the scenes. He is never late—only preparing something greater than you imagined.
Prayer:
Lord, I admit that waiting is difficult. I want answers, direction, and movement. But I choose today to trust You, even when I can’t see what You’re doing. Renew my strength. Teach me to wait with faith, hope, and peace in my heart. I know Your timing is perfect. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
