“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)
Worry is a silent thief. It creeps into our hearts, steals our peace, clouds our thinking, and distracts us from God’s promises. At New Life Restoration, we believe that God not only restores broken lives but also renews anxious hearts.
When Jesus spoke in Matthew 6:25-34, He challenged His followers not to worry about their lives—what to eat, drink, or wear. He pointed to the birds of the air and the flowers of the field as evidence of God’s faithful provision. If God cares for them, how much more does He care for you?
Worry tries to convince us that we are alone, that we must figure everything out, and that the future depends on our own strength. But Scripture tells a different story. Philippians 4:6-7 invites us to “not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” The result? “The peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Overcoming worry doesn’t mean we’ll never feel concerned. It means we bring those concerns to Jesus, trusting Him to handle what we can’t. He invites us to trade our anxiety for His peace.
At New Life Restoration, we walk this journey together. We encourage each other to turn from fear to faith, from worry to worship, from stress to surrender. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to carry the weight of worry.
Today, choose to trust. Lay your burdens at the feet of Jesus. Let His peace wash over you. Your restoration is not just physical or emotional—it’s spiritual. And it begins with letting go of worry and holding on to Him.
